Well, it wasn't meant to be a profetic self-portrait, but thanks anyhow! You'll never know how many times I drew that smile and my teacher corrected it: I tended to broaden it and he redid it crooked. The result is a compromise, but not exactly the same as the picture or the memories I keep.
I think I played with a pencil and a piece of paper before taking up anything else. I've messed around with a lot of stuff since then: dolls, bikes, a saxophone, food, books, computers, money, houses and even schools... Sometimes I juggled with too many things. Sometimes I took them so seriously that I even forgot that it was just a game. This is the evolution of fooling around with a pencil and a piece of paper for 30 years!
